Education in society goes far beyond having a great profession to make an immense amount of income. Educating people in society means that they have the tools and knowledge to vote for politicians that can better the lives in their communities. If an educated society is so necessary, why isn’t there more stress on educating its members? Shouldn’t more funds be allocated toward strengthening our education system?

Sarup states ” Poverty and lack of social services remain pressing problems for rural students, despite economic development and poverty alleviation having been the primary objectives of the system.” This issue of poverty can cause serious psychological issues for students suffering from economic hardship. It becomes very difficult for them to focus on their studies when they are struggling financially.
