Special Education Could Face $2 Billion In Cuts

Special education advocates need to put pressure on congress so that the budget is not decreased because this can really be detrimental to these students.  Students with disabilities need all extra resources to learn and be active in their educational environment.

Education groups wrote a letter that read “These extreme cuts in funding to all education programs will hurt all students, and many of those with disabilities will be hurt twice and three times over because of the across-the-board cuts to education programs.”
