Birthrate Are Dropping For Hispanics

According to a report in The New York Times, Hispanic women in the United States are choosing to have fewer children.

From 2007 to 2010 Hispanic women birthrate had more declines than any other group.

In 2011, women ages from 15 to 44 decline birthrate, with 63 births per 1,000 women.

A recent report by the Pew Research Center, the birthrate decline among Mexican-American women and women who immigrated from Mexico are at 25.7 percent lower.

In 2010, birthrates among all Hispanics reached their lowest level in 20 years.
