Esther Novak wants Latinas to start your own business!
Esther Novak came to the U.S. from Lima, Peru, when she was 10 years old. She didn’t know any English at all, and from then on, she never let any stage in life be a deterrent to what she wanted to do. Esther said, “I found it important to learn English quickly and lost my accent quickly,” she spent the rest of her childhood in Brooklyn, NY.
When she was 35, she became the founder and CEO of her own marketing and communications company, VanguardComm, serving Fortune 500 companies and non-profits and supporting Latino access to mainstream brands.
Esther looks back at how in her life one thing has led to another. She says now’s the time for other Latinas to start their own businesses.
