On May 18, 1928, the Congress, designated the first Monday in October as a Child Health Day. The President will issue a proclamation in observance of this day.
The law also allows young adults to stay on their parents’ health insurance plan until age 26. The President has also taken action to ensure everyone’s children can attend schools that are safe, where we address bullying and end the myth that it is a simple rite of passage.
