Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) is supporting Latina Style, Inc. by promoting the 9th National Latina Symposium to be taken place Thursday, September 6,2012 at the Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport. LATISM has been providing support to Latina Style Inc, since earlier this summer and previously in past years. The goal of the partnership is to empower one woman at a time thorough increasing online engagement and to foster local event participation.
“To support the 9th National Latina Symposium was the right thing to do for us at LATISM.” said Ana Roca Castro, Founder of Latism. “This event not only honors Latinas but also honors Latinas in the military and civilian personnel. We need to be part of it, our Latinas are brave souls and we need recognition for them.”
The 9th National Latina Symposium includes Latinas sharing strategies for success, workshops and panel discussions designed to address issues unique to women in the civilian sector and the military world. The event also includes the only national awards program honoring these brave women.
