Ever wondered how to become an entrepreneur? Startup Weekend is a global movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs.
All Startup Weekend events follow the same model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.
Guess what? we have a group of Latino(a)s championing this event as organizers and leaders. Marcela Guaman has been helping this project for years. And our fearless James Lopez managed to get 10 scholarships for Latino Tech Startups from Quotidian Ventures.
