LATISM featured in Telly Award-Winning Video from Johnson & Johnson
The LATISM Sustainable Development Project video won a Bronze Telly in the Internet/Online programs, Social Issues category.

Washington, DC – March 30, 2012  A short documentary video featuring the Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) 2011 Sustainable Development Project, won a 2012 Bronze Telly award in the Internet/online programs – Social Issues category. The video, which was produced by Johnson & Johnson and posted on the J&J health channel on You Tube, can be viewed here

The concept, visual development, scripts, art direction, and post-production of the LATISM video, was developed  by a multi-team collaboration between LATISM and the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Communication production staff. The video highlights LATISM’s initiative to bring sustainable solutions to underserved local communities in the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, conjuring an emotional, universal message of hope that transcends distance, language and cultural barriers.

The Telly Awards honor the best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. The 33rd Annual Telly Awards received approximately 11,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

This year, Johnson and Johnson and LATISM will once again partner for LATISM’s 2012 Sustainable Development project, which will take place in Cuzco, Peru.
