There is lots of LATISM love to our amazing Tweeps this week.  As usual, our wonderful members are rocking the Latinosphere with their accomplishments, new jobs and even skydiving!

Our lovely and talented @jeannettekaplun has launched bilingual, (Spanish and Portugese) iPhone and iPad educational apps at Todobebe.  The apps are Todofotos, TodoColores, Oir+Aprender and the latest app Leer+Escribir.  One of them is free!


The always gracious @NuriaSantamaria is now working with @EQAL, a social entertainment start-up.  Check out their website here.  Nuria is heading up heading up the Latino branded communities projects and we think she’ll be fabulous in her new position.  Congratulations!

Fab fashionista, photographer and foodie @BrenHerrera launched a re-design of her extremely popular food blog, Flanboyant Eats.  Her photos are amazingly delicious and I am loving the section on Latino spices.  You can also find all the other things Bren is working on here.

Our daredevil friend Al Quintana over at @dgitalraindance went skydiving with the U.S. Army Golden Knights!  Check out the amazing video here.

The @cybils announced their winning books on Valentine’s Day, wrapping up their sixth year of hard work.  The panelists and judges have been hard at work since October reading and discussing a multitude of excellent books in a dozen different categories.  Zapato Power: Freddie Ramos Takes Off won in the Short Chapter Books category.  Zapato Power is authored by Jaqueline Jules and illustrated by Miguel Benitez.  The other winning titles can be found on the Cybils blog.
